Massive infrastructure spending throughout Latin America has reinforced the region’s rising importance to water-treatment equipment manufacturers.
Official reports state that US$450 billion is expected to be invested in infrastructure in Latin American countries between 2011-2015, and although only part of this will find it’s way to water and wastewater projects, investments in transport, utilities, and general infrastructure should help position the region as a more accessible and reliable manufacturing base than it is today.
